About KC Sleepsuits
Having worked closely with carers and people with severe learning difficulties and special needs who also have continence problems, we are aware of the specific needs of our customers.
We have listened carefully to the experiences of carers and mums looking after both children and adults who either remove clothing or interfere with continence aids. Those carers and mums stressed the need for a sturdy sleepsuit that would be comfortable to wear and withstand frequent washing. They told us of their frustration and lack of sleep because they were constantly on edge during the night, and dreaded what they might find in the morning.
The garment we designed is a sleepsuit (all in one pyjama) with a zip fastening at the back. It also incorporates unique features to deter the most persistent undresser. It is not an ordinary back zipped jumpsuit and it does not restrict movement! The suits are available in men's, women's, and children's sizes.
KC Sleepsuits are currently supplying Health Authorities, Social Services, and individual families in the UK.
We get great satisfaction from providing this service. it gives us the opportunity to make a difference to the quality of life of carers, clients, and families. One elderly gentleman ordered two sleepsuits for his wife who was in the late stages of Alzheimer's. He said his wife was now warm, comfortable and slept much easier; also the washer and drier were no longer on all day long.
